This is my vision of Shannen Doherty and her little dog if Picasso were to paint her, and is first in my series of "What if Important Artists of the 20th Century Were to Paint the Portraits of Today's Tabloid Celebrities?" I've been planning this series for a while, but hadn't considered painting Ms. Doherty until I received a timely and mysterious email from a reader who sent the image below along with the message, "Shannen Doherty/Picasso...remarkable!" How hilarious! I've been saying she has the most assymetrical face for years! When "Will and Grace" made a joke about it, I realized everyone knew. She just ain't pretty!

Excellen interpretation ... Picasso would be impressed. I am a docent at the Modern Art in Fort Worth, can I print it and share it with the office there?Shannon should be honored to have this hanging in her house. Though perhaps the middle finger should be the digit which is elongated!

I remember seeing an episode of 90210 when I was younger in which there was a scene with Brenda doing her hair/make up in a mirror -- totally freaked me out!!
And now you've captured that moment beautifully. It's like I'm reliving my adolescence.
