I wasn't planning on wasting half my day playing with the silly Obamiconme. I had big plans for working on new posts for Gallery of the Absurd, but all that changed when I picked up the Financial Times laying at my doorstep and glanced at the headline, "OBAMA WARNS OF SHATTERED DREAMS". I don't trust mainstream media and find much of it nothing more than disinfo and propaganda, but I could not BELIEVE the headline I was reading. After that, I couldn't draw or paint, and thus, spent the day goofing off.
Moral of the story: Ignore the news as reported by mainstream media so that fleeting distractions do not infiltrate productivity.
