Manhattan socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein has undergone millions of dollars worth of plastic surgery to transform her once normal human face into the face of a cat. She creates such a shocking spectacle whenever she goes out in public that I decided she needs to start placing posters about town announcing her upcoming appearances. The New York press dubbed her "The Bride of Wildenstein" and recently, the National Enquirer delicately referred to her as a "rubber faced freak". She scares the hell out of people, but she's just a harmless, eccentric and delusional lady with too much money who parades around Manhattan with that shocking mug of hers and cares not what anyone thinks.
But does she look like a cat? Take this handy quiz and see if you can tell the difference between Jocelyn Wildenstein and a common feline. Don't worry, the quiz is so easy that even Jessica Simpson can pass it.
I agree with Carrie, appearance doesn't matter.
She could really be a nice person.
Regards,
Anise Coen

People of lustrus and luxurious lives, -and many of us- probably forget that happines is not hiding in gold gilding. Ive experienced in every day life that gold-dust usually lies in mud.

I am a cat person (similar but not quite a Nastassja Kinski-like Cat Person). Cats, with the possible exception of the face-smashed-in shortnosed breeds, are way, way more beautiful than this woman. She looks more like a dog, and I mean this as a realistic evaluation, not as a... catty remark.

oh my! Jocelyn Wildenstein,so funny why? its obvious to her that plastic surgery is very usual to her, she don't even know whats the effects of this. Anyway,no need to ask i think there's an a similarity.

You look beautiful in a cats face. Would you like to sound like a cat?

I'm sure she is a nice person, but people are always less kind with people they have no personal attachment to. That is human nature. I think what people are shocked with is the sheer, unadulterated display of such obvious, and all encompassing low self-esteem. All the money in the world is not worth living with SO much insecurity as to destroy one's body as such.

Your painting is far too kind; it's probably quite close to what JW thinks she sees when she looks in a mirror.
Squint while looking at the woman - really, really, really hard - and she almost looks like Karen Black.

Jocelyn Wildenstein is a very nice warm hearted, funny soul. I don't understand why people attack her so much for the surgery she has had done. I don't find it shocking, Its beautiful in its own Artistic way in my opinion. Shes Photo pretty.
The Poster is gorgeous between! It has a sort of Alphonse Mucha Style to it. Love it.

She tried what many others have done but failed. She has accepted her fate and gets on with living.
feel some sympathy for her and hope the bastards who did this to her go to hell with no reprieve.J

This is an issue of the mind and not the face. A good surgeon would weed someone like her out for body dismorphic disorder and help her to find the psychiatric help she needs. I know it is hard not to make fun of her but she was once a lovely woman and something HORRIBLE triggered the disorder. I hope more pray for her then laugh at her. No one in their right mind would gouge and scar their face that way...A responsible doctor would have stopped cutting and gotten her in counseling.

THIS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE TOOOO MUCH MONEY TO PLAY WITH AND NOT ENOUGH POSITIVE DIRECTION IN HER LIFE. I GUEST IT'S TOO LATE FOR A FAMILY INVENTION.
Posted by: JADE | February 01, 2008 at 02:19 PM
She is really a ugly roach, and when people say I'm hideous all the time, I pull her picture out of my purse to make them see the extent of fugly in the world. That trick is HELL ON EARTH!
Posted by: Judy Whitlock | January 10, 2008 at 09:05 AM
She now needs a sculpture to scrap away all the extra layers. She was a natural beauty originally, that old saying more money than brains. Absolutely horrific and yes that surgeon/s need to have their licences taken away. They should have refused to do more surgery long ago.

Well, this lady has at least a lot of fun with plastic surgery.
Most people taking plastic surgery howveer are tragic victims of delutions imposed upon them by the society that any personal traits other than the strictly standard ones are bad.
The same is true about orthodontics. Most orthodontics do not do any good whatsoever.

She Was Gawjus Before She Had Surgery !
Shes Ruined What She Had Just To Be Recognised In The Public Eye!
Well You Cant Really Miss Her Now Can You?
Bet Shes Thinking "What The Hell Have I Done"?!?
Shes Lost Her Family Because Of It!
What A Waste Jocelyn! x

I believe she's descended from the Sleestack, Land of the Lost, circa 1975.

She would have been pretty had she just left it at the eye surgery. She has had TOO many damn face lifts and skin tightening. But to each it's own. I am getting eye surgery to pronounce my slant, more like an asian person, NOT like a damn feline.
Posted by: CMD | August 22, 2007 at 02:01 AM
Obviously a case of too much money conbined with too little common sense and good taste.

Cats are their own species. Humans are there own species. Trying to make yourself look like a cat... is insulting god's beautiful nature.
Posted by: Jillie | July 12, 2007 at 12:35 PM
I feel true empathy. She must regret the doings of plastic surgery...really i nearly fell of my seat when i say her on the computer... no offence, her original self looked all the million dollars better.
Posted by: | July 04, 2007 at 09:54 AM
I was a housekeeper in the main residence for many years.Actually in person she is much softer and not as jarring as the photos suggest. She has the loveliest demeanor and treated us witt such respect. In the end, that is just as beautiful as any face on anyone could be.
Posted by: Orion | June 24, 2007 at 06:25 AM
I really feel bad for this woman. It is a shame that we live in a society that constantly bombards us with images of perfection when the truth of the matter is that it is our imperfections that render each and every one of us special and unique. What's worse is that the internet makes it possible for millions of people to criticize and ridicule this person. What I find truly "absurd" in this gallery is not so much HER physical appearance but how cruel and judgemental WE can truly be. He who is without sin cast the first stone....right??? Or do all of US look like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt?
Posted by: anonymous | June 22, 2007 at 03:47 AM
i was just bored one morning after a night of drinking so i decided to google search awful plastic surgery jobs...yea...this one def tops my list....everytime i see her face i wish i were drunk again. she makes my hangover 10 times worse!

I wouldn't do it, but I admire her guts, hey live, and let live, is my motto. Who is anyone to judge.......
Posted by: jini | June 13, 2007 at 01:12 AM
When we point fingers at others, we should take a look at ourselves too... we are all unique in our own way and it is a beautiful thing. I may not like your hair, your outfit, or the sound of your voice. But should you change any of those things for me? Of course not! She is a human being and is entitled to realize her own dreams. Imagine how dull this world would be if we were all boring conservatives (or Paris Hilton's, g-d forbid!). Leave the ladycat alone!
Posted by: Layla | June 12, 2007 at 11:58 PM
I think she looks great. Her look is so extreme and intense it's unforgetable.

what in heavens name...
i must say i love cats, but to go around looking like one? come on now...
somebody should've been there to tell her it's not a good idea at all.
really, i would have laughed, but then again...i was too shocked to actually do so.
i feel bad for her.

I think all the references to Bette M. is being a bit nasty. This woman has all the money in the world to do some good, but instead has had herself remade into a monstrous looking person. There should be a law against pollution of scenery. She should not be allowed to appear in public without wearing a veil of some kind to hide that ugliness...and possibly scaring small kids and causing others to have heart attacks.
Invasion of the aliens? Yes, just like most others with plastic surgery.
Posted by: Giana | February 10, 2007 at 07:15 AM
She spent HOW MUCH?
What a waste...she could have done so much good with the money & instead worn a cat mask bought a from a Mardi-Gras store.
I think she needs professional help of the mental kind...oh, & a saucer of milk.
